    True, but you can double nickle and double dime yourself into the poor house with aftermarket parts that are quite un necessary for SOME engine programs. It would be nice if we could all afford to put nothing but the best in our projects, and sometimes we must wait until we can. IMO, there are places to spend the money, and places that don't require overkill. I guess we should assume that he is using all aftermarket fasteners throughout the engine.........Why not buy a little extra insurance..............MP

    It shouldn't even be a question.
    You are building an engine that you want to last. You are putting thousands of $ in it, $55 for pieces as busy and supportive as rocker studs should not remotely be questioned.

    Oh, I am with ya, I understand.
    I definitely feel that putting a $1500 set of rods in a motor that is only going to put out 500 or so HP and be under 6500 RPM is crazy. I tend to spend the $ on the smaller stuff and go fairly top of the line. Rockers, rocker studs, and pushrods are busy parts. No rest for them. I go top notch on those pieces for sure.
