I am considering purchasing a complete blower motor, and have a few questions. I have run several different blown gas set ups in the past, never alky. Have a few options for alky motors(already owned parts and engines), however found one already complete and setup.. The motor in question is a 8:1 motor which has run on gas and alky. Just curious how well this setup will work. Using for a lake race situation, so I am looking to run a relatively mild tune . Any ideas? Info, also have a few questions for you, as I am putting this motor in a '85 19 cougar v-drive. would like to compare some hull specs, gears, etc.. Thanks, Steve

    No problemo.
That compression is a bit low for alky but will work. Just might not burn all of it. Step up the boost a bit as long as the rest of the engine is up to the task
