now that we are asking questions! were those pics taken right after it was shot? is it dry there? just trying to figure out what to use on my boat. i have seen some floors done in that but not near as shinny. thanks
Nice floor. What kind of coat did you use? What is the name of it?

Don't want to share? C'mon...

thanks scott. it looks really good!
do you have any pics of the floor with the hardware attached? ie the strut, fins, rudder box, pullies and cables?
scott that looks real nice.
Thanks Bob for posting the pics of our 1971 Schiada Flatty project. The boat was turn key complete when we got it in August 2005. We removed everything and then the fun started, it has been a long project to this point.
We have gotten help from Phil Bergeron and the inside new balsa floor was done by Joey D'ccuci and Vincinte at Marine Service Center, L.H.C..
The strut has been moved forward as will the v-drive and engine to the correct locations.
The biggest decision has been what colors to paint it and by who, yes we'd love for Billy B to do it but there is a budget, well that's pretty much been blown, believe me my wife reminds me of that !!!
When its all said and done i'll let you know the final cost, the boat was 6500.00 complete when we started.
Time seems to be the second biggest part of the puzzle, quality is time.
The trailer is being redone to accomodate a new dropped look.
My dad has a ton of hrs in the sanding and prepping dept.
Hope it'll look as nice as some of the other resto's when done.
Justin, I hope it'll be ready for next year !!!! Thanks for the compliments.
Scott, Denise & Ed.
