I'm going to be taking my fishing boat out soon. The trailer registration is current, but I lost the actual PTI tag. Do you think if I got pulled over the cop will give me crap about not having the tag even though I have the registration showing that its current?
(I know that I can get a duplicate tag for like $10 but I don't feel like going through the hassle...)

You can either hassle once at the DMV or AAA for the sticker or get the ticket, go to DMV or AAA, and then court to show proof of correction. I would just get the sticker.
if you're not a AAA member you can't use there dmv service, They're funny like that. They offer a really good package for around a $100, One tow and it pays for itself. :coffeycup :coffeycup v-drive
