After that experience, it don't matter what motor it is if it has press plugs, they are replaced with pipe plugs!..
I always knew you were a smart cookie
But they are like the rest of them, they have a pressure relief valve!..
Yes sir, it works great until it doesn't.
Better Roost finds out now instead of at 4500RPMs

Just experience my friend!.. Another example, a friend of mine rebuilt his motor in his truck one time and then went on vacation back east, and on the way back about a 100 miles from home the oil pressure went away, zero, nada!. Got it towed home and then we tore it down, can you guess what we found in the bottom of the pan!..
It's coming out again. Minimum pan and front mount/timing cover will be coming off. Since it's completely assembled and detailed, I'm going to have to use a carb base lift plate to get it out this time. Summit gets a couple more bucks....
Better a coupla bucks now or a BUNCH more later on bud.
Could always just put a Dodge in it.

But it sounds better!..
So, how are those "mopars" running? I'd prefer to build a motor that I can run in the boat in, oh let's say, 2 years? :boxed:
