I've been in the biz over 25 years. I think the photos are legit or someone is very good at photoshop. I have the two photos. Has anyone else seen these photos?

I dont know if I should post them, one of them is pretty graphic. If you read my post, I am asking if anyone else have seen them. There are many guys on here who are in the aviation biz.
That "strip amidst the Amazon jungle" that the Legacy landed at is a Brazillian Air Force Base.
The pilots of the Legacy (both Americans, they were ferrying the new airplane back to the US) are still being held in Brazil. There was also a reporter from the New York Times on board the Legacy, his blogs are pretty good reading as to what was felt and happened on board the airplane after the collision.
It appears that the Brazilian gov't is attempting to fabricate a case against them (the Legacy crew) and charge the crew with criminal negligence. The crew maintains that they were flying at the altitude assigned by Brazilian ATC...

The images above are video captures from the pilot episodes of the ABC television series "Lost" (note the handcuffs worn by the woman pictured on the left, a character recognizable to viewers of the series as Kate Austen, played by actress Evangeline Lilly). Similar images can be seen in video trailers for the series.

bilgewiper you are correct. The tail does not match Gol. Past 15 years, we have worked on Brazilian carriers exclusively. Gol does not fly to any of my stations in the U.S.

If the U.S. government did the same with all of the close calls and mishaps that the Brazilian carriers had in the past, well you know the story.....
Brazil let the Americans go home on Tuesday. They agreed to return if summoned for legal reasons.
