If it's on the CA side, odds are that the land can only be leased from the Chemhuevi's, which means that they can, without warning, pull the lease up from under you. This has already happened once since I've lived here (7 years).
Make sure you can own the land before you decide.
That's right. I have worked with a relative of the guy who developed it. You only get the lease you don't own it. I was offered one early on but I would want to own my land.
It's not indian land but you do not own the lot.

I was told year and half ago that the development was sold out with 300 names on the list. I was was there a couple of months ago a saw only 10 or so sold. What happen with that? sold out to 10.
I was there a couple of weeks ago and they had about 30 units sold.
