well you guys missed out I sold the burb for 3500, what a deal that guy got. making resv at hotel for may 18-19......
Congratulations on the sale of the burb Ken. That guy did get a good deal. I will probably be staying at the motel too on that Friday night (18th) if they will let me stay for one night. I have to be back home on Saturday evening to meet some friends that are flying in from the east coast. Is it summer yet?
Geez, I just called steele park for motel resv. and they are 140 a night plus tax.... unbelievable, and bridge bay at shasta is only 103 a night. guess I will be doing a day trip saturday, maybe just leave boat and stay in vacaville or someplace over night. what a rip off.... Hey Keith I think there is a 2 night minimum at steele park......

Yeah, I know that there's a two night minimum when making reservations but they will let you stay one night if you show up and they have rooms available. I didn't want to put my tent up for just one night but at that price, I may do that. Thanks Bra, but RocketJ already told me that I can put my tent in his RV spot if I end up going that direction. Maybe, I will just sleep on the boat. Maggie's not coming up that weekend, so lots of options. :sleeping:

Are you sure thats not for the two nights. I remember only paying like 65 per night in oct.If they raised the price that much then Ill sleep in my truck.
I think for that price I will just sleep in my boat!

Site #26 for Thursday-Sunday.Pray for rain (not that weekend obviously) but between now and then to raise the water level.Last time I saw pictures of the lake (I think it was 707dog who took some at the beginning of the year) the water level was quite low.
