How much boost can you run on pump gas?
If it depends on certin combinations, what is a good combo? Check out kuhlsuperchargers.com in the tech section, all kinds of info on that stuff.

I have the kuhl catalog and 10 pounds seems to be the limit.
I run 9 all day long

If it depends on certin combinations, what is a good combo? A good and safe combo is 8 lbs with 8:1
or 10 lbs with 7.5:1 (my personal preference)
Depends on your compression.

i run 7lbs with an intercooler and 9:1 comp. i have also run 9lbs with no problem. keep your total timing down a bit and you will be fine.

If it depends on certin combinations, what is a good combo? I'm running 10 PSI on 7:1.... But I do have water injection.
I see all you posting your compression and/or boost but using pump gas is a generic term. Depending what part of the map you go to the pump your octane varies significantly. So where are you & what octane do you regularly use with your compression, boost and timing??? Does it really matter if you use low-grade pump gas & your timing is 20 degrees?
I use amaco 93 octane, in my car which is 7.7 to 1 at nine pounds of boost, my boat is 8.3 to 1 and I use a mix of 93 and 110 race gas and nine psi in that too.

With my setup, would N2O be better? The thing is, I really want a blown motor. I mean, I want to push my boat a lot faster and I am only making at best 650 hp. I want over 1000. Should I start thinking of crate engines and sell my current motor to finance it? Opinions?
