At what pressure does an O-ringed blower intake become necessary? I'm planning out my first blower / intercooled motor build and I'll be ordering a new intake soon but didn't know if I should get it machined for the O-ring as well. I'm not planning on going over 10 psi at first but most likely more later on.

I don't think it is so much a pressure situation as more of a convenience situation. No gasket to mess with. Less chance of warping the blower when tightening it. Just a whole lot better way to seal the blower to the manifold. No reason not to do it. Do it now.

Thanks, I'll order it with the o-ring provision
