Ah yes, right here is the spot to get your strut porn. I know, I know I'ed rather see Tracy Lords myself.
Anyway schiada96 came through again. This time it's a 7.25 degree drop through strut for a 1.125" prop shaft. It was left long so when I figure out how to mount it I can cut the rest off.
Let me tell ya, this thing looks stout. I don't think I'll be bending this sucka anytime soon!

Ok, this is the trun fin he made for me awhile back. I think this is a nice part too.

Now I was looking at my old (rusty) rudder. It might have to get replaced as well.
Hey schiada96, shoot me a price to make me a new rudder. S.S. of course and with a 1" shaft. Mines a wedge style rudder like a flatbottom would have.

But his prices are not as bad as you would think. And if you think they are out of line give Barber Welding a call and see what they get for struts.
Plus I like supporting the little guy and he's a forum member to boot.

Those welds you see on the fin are just tack welds. It's welded on the other side.

No really, everything else you have done looks so killer I just can't bring myself to put that old rudder on. Even though it cleans up real nice.
Once I get all this stuff polished it will look killer for years and years.

SD how far from the bottom of the boat to the top of the rudder shaft? I'll leave the keyway out you can do that.
