Yes, it's a 10 degree box, everyone I've seen has a -2??. Nothing wrong with stainless tanks, if it's that cheap buy it, those are cool boats, you got pics??...
I have found a 68 sanger flatbottom ,minus motor, that I can get for a song. the box number is 61000-2. I think this is a 10 degree box but don't know what the -2 stands for? It also has stainless 11.5 gal fuel tanks. Are these better than aluminum? thanxs david

mine was originally 62600-1.
and it has been stamped 61000-1.
what is the reasoning behind this i know it is a 10 deg.
OK, those are the numbers stamped on the bottom, what about the numbers that are cast in the case?..
those are the ones stamped on the front of the case.
someone just stamped over the raised numbering
Wow, why would anyone do that, don't make sense!. eek!
Maybe V-Drive Tom Can shed some light on this when he comes around.... smile_sp
yeah none of us can make sence of it.
they dont seem to be a matching set of cases so the stamping may be irrelevant.
OK, so how do you know if it's a 10 degree?.
My guess would be that it's stamped on the Gears......
