Cool old boat Brian....
Do you need another interior for it?? I know where one is.
I added a bulkhead (now have 2) and supports to walk on deck. Without them, you`ll fall right through.

My dad is pretty happy about it....it should be a good river for cruising from Big River to Water Wheel, Aha Quinn, etc.
Yeah, no need for an extra interior.... :rollside: How's the boat running?? I miss it. Got any new pic's of the boat?
Very easy. Rivets. Pull the rubber part of the rub rail out where its loose, you will probally see rivets, drill it out and put a few new ones in, or like was done to mine you can just add rivets.
Nice Clean Southwind.
Thanks, sounds like it should be really easy to do.....

Boats doing alright... going to have to put a new fuel pump in it, but that's not a biggy.
Don't really have any new pics though.
Nice looking boat.
Also, it doesn't have full length stringers....is that pretty common on this year Southwind?
A buddy had a late 70's Southwind 20 1/2 ft cruser and it did not have full lenght stringers either.
Looks good and they are fun to drive. Perfect for the lower river. Here is my brothers Southwind which he runs up at Naci and other lakes up in N CA

Is that pic at Davis Camp ???
Dilligaf, is your boat 1981 or earlier, and if so, does it have engine length stringers?
Here's mine:

It was laid up with full length tunnel dragster stringers.
