Anyone that defends that indefensable a**hole is no better than him. The question still stands, What, in his 20 some years in the Senate has he done? What landmark legislation has he written? Has he ever stood up and made a stand on anything based on an independent thought? Has he ever offered a solution to the problems of the day? Has he done anything that makes him stand out among his peers? Living off of rich women can hardly be considered an accomplishment a real man can be proud of. Making cowardly and treasonous statements that offers aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war is also not considered an accomplishment a real soldier would be proud of. He is scum.

1. Like Iraq? What was the plan there except "shock and awe"? There WAS no plan and that was on purpose. The bu$heviks knew that if they let things drift Iraq would degenerate into civil war. They could then quietly take over Iraq's oil resources and build the military bases without much publicity.

4. "Bold military presents" LOL you need to go back to elementary school and learn how to spell. Anyway, our Army is being used up in Iraq. Many troops are on their THIRD tour of duty there. We have been fighting in Iraq longer than we fought in WW2 and no end in sight if the Rethugs continue to rule this nation. Endless war. The only effective fighting forces we have left are the Navy and Air Force. Forget ground troops anywhere.
The Brits are getting chopped to pieces in Afghanistan and will leave soon. That means either we redeploy troops there or leave the country to the tender ministrations of the Taliban and their new-found love of poppy-seed money.
5. Gay marriage??? Who in the congress is ramming through legislation against it? Ain't the Dems they don't control anything(YET ). Keep your bluenose out of Americans' bedrooms how about it. Do gays really bother you out there in California?? LOL

1. We have increased terrorism in Iraq because we had no plan for post-war rebuilding.
2. Install Hussein back in power. :rollside: Seriously, I don't know the answer. The problem now is, any Sunni government is going to be opposed by the Shiites and vice versa. We don't have enough troops to stop this civil war raging now, and sure to get worse. bu$h broke it so he has to somehow fix it. He says he listens to the Generals.
