The Southern California Speedboat Club is proud to reach another milestone in the history of boat racing with the 60th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta at the Bluewater Resort & Casino on November 24 & 25, 2006. The 2007 APBA season get underway with the very first race of the 2007 season at the Bluewater. Classes set to race for the historic event are: Round 1 for the Grand National Racing Association Series, Round 1 for the Western Pro Stock Racing Series, Cracker Boxes, Super Stocks, K Racing Runabouts, Nostalgia Flat & Endurance, Formula 150 Tunnel Boats, SST-45's, PWR and the limited Stock Outboard Hydroplane classes.
The event starts on Thanksgiving day with a boat Parade through Parker at 10:00 a.m. that ends up that Bluewater Resort & Casino and becomes a "show and shine". This will be followed by a Thanksgiving Potluck. The Turkey's have already been donated by Ben Marrone and his Plan B GN305 Team. So come out and celebrate 60 great years of Thanksgiving racing!

The Racing gets underway at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and the program should last until 4:30 p.m.
Saturday race program will begin at 9:00 a.m. and last until 4:00 p.m.
The 2006 Award Banquet is set for Saturday evening. At 6:00 p.m. inside the Bluewater Resort will be cocktail hour. 7:00 p.m. dinner will be served and at 8:00 p.m. the awards for SCSC, GNRA, WPRA, WFLS and Nostalgia will begin.
Note: Paid Reservations of $21/adult and $10/children 10 under must be received by November 15, 2006, no exceptions after that date. Banquet is limited to 230 seats available on a first come first serve basis, NO EXCEPTIONS. Reserve your team table by placing one order of 10 tickets.
