hmmm we will be out that weekend, maybe a trip to the DB is in order![]()
We will be going to the Desert Bar in Parker on Thanksgiving weekend. We have always taken the main trail that's closer to town. Does anyone have info on the trail that starts by the River Island Market?
We are in an F150 and the boys will be riding their m/c's.

We met LHC Kirby back there a couple of weeks ago. and he came in the River Island way, and said it was the worst he has ever seen it, so unless you want an adventure, come in the Cienega Springs way.

Thanks. That helps with the decision!
We will be up there Wednesday. Planning on going to the Desert Bar on Friday, boat races on Saturday, watching the boat parade Saturday night.
Have not done that road, but heard it is really bad, need off road vehicles ...

Nows the time to step up and get that rail since Rhinos are a useless overpriced fad. :crossx: :crossx:
There is some pretty rough sections on that trail. There are a lot of different forks in the road,so you either need a really good map or somebody with you that knows the route.
I don't know how old your boys are,but it's deffinately not a trip for young beginner riders.
It has its tough spots with loose rock on going up and down the passes. most of the trail is pretty easy except those places but with out 4x4 or a few other vehicles I would not do it.
We will be there for that weel with our jeep club staying at the La Paz campground as we do every year.
Lots of nice trails out there.

I would not try this unless you have a small vehicle like a jeep with high clearance and 4x4 is a must.
