I need help getting my newly restored/ newly wrecked boat appraised for an insurance company after getting rear ended. The appraisal company had the boat & trailer appraised at just above $3000 to replace it. I don't think that is an accurate accessment. Unfortunately, they thought the old jet boats for sale in Bakersfield were suitable replacements. The insurance company is willing to work with me, but I need 1 of 2 things....
    1. To find an appraiser near Bakersfield who knows v-drives.
    or
    2. Information on how much simular boats have sold for recently.
The boat was/ is a 20' Barron V-bottom. It looks alot like a Grand National Boat, but has only been used as a ski boat. Everything in the boat was new/ rebuilt. I have some pictures of it at the folowing link, but none with it all finished, those were missed place in my recent move....

If any of you are willing to share what you have sold or bought your 19 to 21' v-drives for, less engine, & would provide a picture, I would appreciate it. You could e-mail me at tim@tregoning-going-gone.com. I won't share the details of your sell/ purchase with anybody but the appraiser.
I won't be able to reply to any questions or e-mails until Wednesday due to work, but any information that can be provided is appreciated.
    Thank you.

vee-driven- Thank you, that is exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciate it. BTW, your new Rayson looks bad ass.
Sanger-rich- I'm breaking out the box of reciets today to sort things out.
To all- I'm sure the more info I can present to the Appraiser the better. If you are willing to share, please post, PM, or e-mail me.
    Thank you,
    Tim

There is a guy on here that has a 1974 hallett baron gn hull for sale search in the spam section under gn hull, it looks alot like the one you have.

I think it is exactly what I have. I have never seen another one before. I don't see it sticking around long enough for my insurance issues to get settled, which is to bad.
