It looks a lot like the Mark Williams axles we had made for my cousins pulling truck.
I am not sure exactly what this is made of. My best guess is Aluminum/Titanium. It is 33 3/4" long by 1 3/8". It was on the D'Cucci I tore up a few years ago. It is a little shinny like stainless, but it is very light weight. Anybody ever seen anything like this?

No Tony, YOU got it wrong the shaft in the boat is too short. Mine seems to be just fine, although everytime you see it your down on it like a kid on a lollypop.
