Dan look at the impellers that I sent you, the big one is for a Magnaflow, the little one is for a Neovane. The magnaflow will pump a lot more water than the Neovane and last much longer. Your friends boat has a magnaflow.
What is the difference between a magaflow and a NeoVane? I just bought a Neovane. I didn't realize there are two different kinds.

Since I put in a sea strainer (four years ago) I haven't replaced the impeller. Whar size Neovane do you have? there are two.
Anybody know where I can get just a seal kit for a v-755 Neovane? Thanks
They look exactly the same on the outside. eek!
Both sizes of Neovane are kinda "cone" shaped. The neovane is a very good unit, but the Magnaflow is better. The magnaflow is easier to change the impeller (3bolts vs. 8 little screws), and is more resistant to dry starts Also, because the impeller vanes are so much larger, the pieces are less likely to go through your hoses and get stuck.

It is a Magnaflow. I thought it was. I looked at it last to make sure.
What were you going to say, Mike?
