i thought it was for a sat radio hook up :rollside:
The Ford service guy couldn't tell me, so maybe someone here knows. We have an 2006 F-250 with the 6 cd in-dash radio. The radio has an Aux button. Anyone know what can be hooked up to that input? Is it a normal aux input that can take an external device, like an iPod?

It should be for satellite radio, IPOOD, MP3, etc.
it is for sat radio if it is factory... it is for an ipod if you have the plug on top of the dash which at this point only the f150 has.. so in a super duty it is useless.. trust me i haul about 1000 of them a year. (ford vehicles that is)
With an after market adapter you should be able to hook just about anything up to that port.
