Can anybody recommend a machine shop capable of cutting the extra keyway in the crank. And about how much would it cost?
Any good machine shop should be able to do it.
Don't know the cost, mine was done a few years ago by the guy that balanced my junk.
When it's taking SO much HP to drive the blower that it's shearing off a single key and requiring double keys,........I'd have to say that there's a clue there.

I'll do it for 75 bucks. And even broach the balancer for ya.
Put it up on the mill, clamp the flange with an indexing head super spacer. Use a live center in the blancer end. Indicate in the stock keyway and cut the new one. 180 out.
How much for shipping? 92544 area code. I would have to ship the crank and balencer.
