The thread was a way for me to laugh at the fact that I f*cking have cancer. And I thought it was funny that a doctor can actually prescribe sex. Seems like most people got that. I'm sorry if you did not.
I got the jist of it and I too thought the prescription was funny.

you really can get a prescription for sex. I'm thinking of having mine framed for the BF :rollside:
I had surgery for cervical cancer about a week ago. I went in on Wednesday for a post-op follow-up totally expecting to be told, no sex for the next month, especially since I can't participate in vigorous exercise for 6 weeks. And then the Dr. asked me about my sex life (cuz that isn't a loaded question) He then proceeds to tell me that it's absolutely imperative that I have sex in the next week, definitely next 2 weeks. Who knew?! (some excuse about the healing process and "unsticking" things)
Of course, I'm sittting there thinking to myself...what if I weren't in a steady relationship? Would he prescribe hooking up with my ex for a one night stand :idea: Or would he give me a prescription to buy some toys at the local adult sex shop for a little alone time? You think my insurance would cover that?!
I think I can cross the BF off the Christmas list for this year
