Shot in the dark

My boat for some reason has 2 different gas tanks in it, I'm looking to try to get them to match up. Anybody have a single tank that looks like the following one tank? This tank is i believe around 50" tall and 8" in diameter. has one fill spot about 8" down from the end of the tank and a pickup on the other end. Anybody have one or two of these laying around they want to sell or a diffrent set of tanks?

just a suggestion!...why not just cut a piece out of the long tank in the middle to make both tanks match?...take u about 1/2 hr or so...tig weld it up & ur good to go...whats a gallon or two lost in a boat!!!

It's not that one tank is larger than the other, one tank i have now looks like the one in the pic above, and the other tank is the same length size for the most part but the ends taper knotch down in diameter about 6" from each end also has a big dent in it. The odd ball tank has a trimedic or trimetic sticker on it with a picture of a boat (same as the one used on the FC events held here).
Just trying to get things to match up since you will see them.

I have a set. I will be able to measure them when I get home. They came out of a Southwind tunnel dragster and I will let them go for around 100. PM me. I will be there tuesday and wednesday this week.
