So what kind of boat do you run?
I agree, they are very popular, but thats for a reason, they work!!
Heres an 18 that won the 8.50 bracket at the last NJBA race, its a full on river runner too.It ran 117 MPH in the heat of the day. Its going to run even better next season from what I hear.

God that picture makes me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got that boat brand new from Scotten in 99 and later traded to my buddy Tony for a super clean 19" gullwing. Tony put a blown motor in it and ran for a while before selling it to Joe Morgan, who now runs it in NJBA (very successfully). That is one sweet boat. I have had seven CP's (including one tunnel) and never had any problems. They're fairly light and respond well without much HP, and they are very forgiving. I'm sure if you want to run at a competition level, they might be a little squirley at +115 mph, but I don't know of any boat that is 100% safe at those speeds. The CP is an all around great boat, and someone else already said it earlier, they look sick!!!!!!!!!! Call it a glastron or whatever, I'll take a CP any day!!!!!!!!

That looks like a Condor TX-19 with the graphics it has on the deck. I can't tell if it has the straight sides or not. Condor didn't. Beautiful boat, but I wouldn't have put the gauge deals on the deck, but to each, his own.
