Bad nozzel to bowl gasket maybe?
alright ladies/gents,...this happenes everytime i start to accelerate from standstill: when i am just accelerating to about 30 mph, the pump is spewing a small shower of water into the engine compartment and i think the water is bouncing off of the trim lever on my pump....im not sure. it only happenes when im starting to accelerate and it just gets everything in the rear of the boat wet. i notice that it doesnt happen w/ other jets. its a 76 eliminator w/ an aggressor jet. anyone know why/how/how to fix it? thanx in ADVANCE.
Bad nozzel to bowl gasket maybe?
oh okay...ill check that...you think i could make out if i go to a pump shop and have it checked out? thanx for the reply.
your bucket might not be comeing up far enough. mine didnt.
whats the bucket?....my hydrualic trim is broken, yet it is stuck in the down-most position fortunately.
Just pull the bolts and have a look. They could even be lose. I had a gasket go once and it shot a stream up 20 feet.
btw beerjet...your myspace link is incomplete i think..just to let you know
the reason i dont think its a gasket is because it stops completely once i get on plane, maybe a lil' before that.
