my father purchased this sanger mini day fron the factory in 81. the boat is a 1982 sanger mini day v drive. he bought it as a blank hull not even emblems and did all the work inc the 400 trans. boat was sold to a guy in tahoe then i think in in the sac cal area. the cf number is CF 1162 hf. the boat is cream white and browns. i know the boats are selling for approx 20k in nice shape however id be willing to buy this boat back at a more than worth value to get my dads boat back . if you have any info please let me know. dan

the boat looks just like it ,however no railing and no emblems. at the time the engine was a stock 454 but that could be diff. as far as colors exact. i guess i would settle for one just like it and build to my dads specs but its nice to get the old one. i know i can go to ***boaters you all seem to be alot of help and cool as they get . thank you all for helping me look for the boat
find a cop friend , have him run the cf #s it will put you in the right direction
Saw this thing this morning and remembered your post. I know it's a long shot that it's the same boat, but what the hell.

Don't give up!! Try to find the correct one. I posted a thread not too long ago that I was looking for my dad's '65 laveycraft flatty. Put a pic of it in my sig as well.
Well thanks to the keen eye of "BOAT ANCHOR" (a member here on the forums) he reccognized the boat as one that a friend of his currently owned. He connected us with the owners and brought us to THE exact boat.
Couldn't of done it without him. We had been looking for it for 20+ years!!
Her's what it looked like 30 years ago:
