i'm sure this has been gone over here a million times....but i'm new here so
here we go :boxed:
looking at a pair of 454 mags. used low hour fresh water engines out of a 34 ft scarab with bravos. serial no. OD381164 OD342310
they are just the engines i need for my 33 foot express cruiser.
question is:
other then the arrestor cap that says 454 mag...or pulling the oil pan,
how do i know these are true mags?

Sorry chief, I just figured it was better for me to keep my mouth shut than start spouting off about something that I am not educated about. A large amount of the guys that frequent this section do not have a vast knowledge of those details that you are looking for. Now if you are planning on modifying a current power plant then everyone will jump in with their two cents.
