If they're still around, "Driveline Service" did excellent work!..
Looking for good affordable shop to shorten my shaft. It's just too long. I never thought I'd say that.
Seriously, what should I expect to pay to have this driveline shortened? Anything I need to know before I measure, besides how to read a tape measure....
I need a 22".
I'm on the central coast of CA.

not sure of a specific shop in your area. But, the last time a had a driveshaft cut and rebalanced , it was around a hundred bucks. Don't get cheap on this job though , you'll get what you pay for on this one. You definitely don't want to break a weld or have a shiddy balance job.
As Art (GoFastRacer) said, "Driveline Service" has always done great work for me as well. As an auto dealer, we refer our driveline work to them. Check your YellowPages they are a "chain."
