Is February a good time to do a Catalina run, I was thinking of going to the LA boat show the second weekend and pulling my boat down to the big water.
    Thanks for any input.

It will be a little cool outside, but yeah, I say go for it, I like boating in the 50's as much as I do the in the 100's. MAKE SURE you check the weather report before you go. The National Weather Service does a marine forecast which is updated hourly so you can check the condition of the seas prior to your trip, you dont want to go if there happens to be a storm coming your way.It tends to be pretty calm in the morning, getting progressively worse as the day goes on. It seems that no matter what time of year you go, it always works that way, calm in the morning and rough in the afternoon. Have Fun!
