Can't think of anywhere else to ask this question but a post that is dealing with fiberglass restoration.
I have fiberglass pools steps that are discolored and bubbling. What would I need to do to restore? Would it be the same as restoring fiberglass on a boat? What product would be needed?
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

This might make your steps too slippery, but on fiberglas showers gel gloss aerosol works great...available at Home Depot..

I've never made a pool but my friend used to. It is probably made with a gelcoat layer and then backed up with a chopper gun. Same gelcoat re-surface process as a boat.
