My 26 Daytona went 78.8 on GPS with a 496 HO and a 28 lab. My Raylar 600 will be done in two weeks and is supposed to make a little over 600 HP with the headers and the fuel system upgrade. I have no idea what to expect as far as top speed goes, does anyone know of any 26 Daytona running 575's ? If so, what are they runnig for top speed ?
    Thanks

Don't know about top speed, but you better install more "oh shit" handles!

I would say high 80's, and maybe touch 90 with no weight in the boat.

Please tell me I'm going to see more than 10 MPH increase for the amount of money I just spent ! If that's the truth then this was a huge waste.
I would think that an additional 200 hp would net me more than 10 mph, or am I nieve ?
Looks like I may be buying a Pro Charger after all, which sucks.

    Probably around 85-88mph.

I say that you should be able to break 90 MPH in the Winter....
and high 80's in the Summer.......
Also, depends where the drive sits.....
    Good luck....

From 425 to 600 HP. You should be able to handle a 30 or 32 labbed prop. The key is what RPM's you will be turning the prop.
At 5000 RPM with a 26 pitch you should be running about 74. Same 5000 RPM with a 30 pitch you would be running about 85. With a 32 pitch prop 91. You see the additional HP alows you to swing a bigger prop. If Raylar raises your RPM even by 200 and you have enough HP to swing a 32 you go to 95. 400 more RPM you get 98.
Raylar can plug the numbers in for you. If you know what the RPM and prop pitch is then its easy to estimate your top speed.

    Thanks FullUp,
At the 78.8 I was turning 5100 rpm. With the forged internals I think Raylar said that Whipple can raise my limit to 5700 rpm's, I was planning on starting with a 32 lab that I can borrow from a friend and work down.

Just expect to spend more money! I had a Raylar "600", let's just say it dynoed nowhere near 600hp. It only took about 30-60 seconds to get hole.
Good luck with it, I hope you don't have the same experience I did. All said and donem installing the Raylar kit cost me about 40k.
    Good luck.
