Just read that Bobby Hamilton Sr. passed away tonight. His doctor just gave him a cautiously tenative clean bill of health several months ago. Very sad, he was 49.

he was fighting neck and head (NOT SURE IF IT WAS BRAIN) cancer

Yeah, it was broadcasted in August, he was cancer free, it was shortly after he finished chemo. Then in December, they found some cancer cells again and started chemo. He had a press release saying he would not be racing this year with no other info. Obviously they were premature in saying they killed the cancer. You know what the doctor will tell you, you are not truly done with cancer until you are cancer free for 7 years.

Bobby Jr, you got some big shoes to fill, young man.
Benny Parsons just re-entered the hospital several days ago and is in ICU.
Complications from lung cancer....
I hate hearing these things.

Sad indeed, Benny Parsons is also in intensive care in Charlotte and not doing well at all.
