Another legend is gone......I remember the altered wheel base cars that were the forerunners of modern funny cars. He was a fixture at San Fernando Raceway in the 60s, and a true inovator for the sport. His vast knowledge will be missed..................MP

When I was an 11 year old kid I had a pit pass and asked him for a cigar.
He gave one to me.
Pretty cool at the time.
