That is the question! Hey guys, just about done rebuilding my trailer and adding new alloys and marathons. The tire shop said not to bother balancing them? Seems like they should be for tire wear and wheel bearing life. What do you think?

Balance them. Saves the tire, saves the boat from being vibrated to death going down the highway.

I second that, save tire tread and spring bushings. Drink one less case of beer this year.

For about $5 per tire, why question it??

Yep, it's a good thing. I tend to tow kind of fast so I'm sure it helps out on the longevity of all the components.

If the guys at the tire store had their way they wouldn't balance any tires. It slows them down.
