Yes it is. But it is still wet here, with more rain to come. It appears I am going to have to put the boat back in the garage if I want to get anything done.
Sun's out Dave, what's up?

How did you get the wood off the transom and not disturb the shell (gell coat)?

I used a gasket scraper to get as much of the wood off as possible, then just sanded with the sander in the pic with a #36 disk.
Thanks D.D. i have to do mine also. Are you using the 3M stuff to hold your stringers inplace of resin or 3M then resin?
I am really undecided at the moment how I am going to bed them. I did consider 3M5200, but it remains flexible, and I don't like that idea. I have poxy-putty that I could use, or mix up some thickened epoxy, or some mat strips and epoxy. I will most likely cover them with one layer mat, then one layer 32 oz biaxial cloth. I have already fabbed up a fixture to hold them in place while the bedding sets up.
A couple pics in the mock-up stage. I figure to get the transom set tomorrow afternoon, since it is supposed to be nice.

i would suggest the same if you want that boat to be anything but a ski boat. i extended mine to just in front of the rear seats and it made alot of difference. stiffer boat better ride and the hook is gone a little faster. you'll regret it later if you want to run past the seventies.
