I need a good name for the Coast Guard registration. Since so many of you are familiar with my boat, I thought you might enjoy helping me name it.

May I ask what Coast Guard registration costs and if you have to pay any stupid Cali taxes if you do it?

$380. No taxes in CA, cause I'm in Arizona. Eboatloans does it for me.

Is there a yearly fee or is that $380 a one time dealio?
Now that AZ raised the fees I may think about going Coast Guard

No yearly fee. Every December you get a questionare in the mail from the USCG. If nothing has changed, you sign it and mail it back and in a couple of weeks you get your new certificate. Of course your boat must meet the minimum displacement size ( I think it's 5 gross tons). I think the cut off is right around 26' long boats. Anything larger usually qualifies.
