Sheriff investigate boyÂ’s death

Lassen County SheriffÂ’s are currently investigating the mysterious death of a 9-year old boy from Westwood.
On Monday, Jan. 22 a Fletcher Walker Elementary School student, was found at the Westwood Park hanging from a tree.
No further information is available at this time. The Lassen County Sheriffs are requesting anyone with information about this incident contact the SheriffÂ’s office at 220 S. Lassen St., in Susanville or call 530/257-6121.
Fletcher Walker Elementary administration provided grief counseling for students and staff on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
