OKay guys another new guy question. Got my casale apart, now im curious as to the ratio and my prop in conjunction with my motor and if i should be looking for a different ratio before i put it back together numbers on the gears are CE 1.73 38t 1.12 L.H 12 2nd gear 34T 1.12 L.H CE 1.73 12 the prop says NI-AC 12 DYNO CUP 15L WEST COAST MARINE NORTH HIGHLANDS CA 2854 590 What i want to know is this all gonna work with my 468 BBC making 800hp @ 7000 rpms in my 19 oot rayson craft I know this is very vague but anything u can do to enlighten me would be greatly appreciated.

RaysonRat, If you are making that much power you should go up in gear a little.(18%)(1.18)
You will end up with a steel prop to be safe.
It will also out perform the brass one you have by a good amount. Does your engine have a blower?
