yea i know i have the chevy mounts but those mounts don't line up to the mounts in my boat...
I think it was a 360 or a 390. He was a buick mechanic and that is what was in at the time. If parts for the 455 buick are like the 455 olds(expensive) I would steer clear. I love my olds but I am going to sell it and the boat and go the way of the chevrolet. later .....v-drive

The Nailheads of that era were 425s, not 455s. The 430 and 455 Buicks were quite a bit later, mid to late 60s, and a complete different design from the nails of the 50s..............MP

Nothing will unless you have the original engine mounts. Just use the plates and make new brackets, no biggie!..

oh ok..yea thats what my plan was...but i droped to boat in the water today and the v-drive housing had a hole in there like it was ment to be in there but im not sure if it takes a special plug or somthing...so i just put duct tape over it just for today...
