I seen the thread asking about the legality of radar detectors and it got me thinking that I need to get a radar detector for my bike.
Anyone have any recommendations? How does this type of thing work? Do you plug a headphone into a standard detector? Maybe there's something that can be mounted on the bars?
Well, not sure I will get all of this right but I'll try. if it is Harley, they offer 1 that interfaces with the audio on the Ultra, I think it runs $700. Otherwise any other can use battery powered portable or splice the cig lighter to the 12volt system. Most have head phone jacks that you could run to an ear piece. The trouble may be mounting it ??
years ago, there was a detector you carry in your shirt pocket that would vibrate...didn't work against laser.
