    Just saw an infomerical on this two stroke, any one know anything about them?
    More torque
    Less weight
    better mileage
    Hype, or smoke and mirriors?

    Talk to Al Stoker about them. I was in his shop last week and he was giving some guy the run down on them, seemd like a pretty good motor

    i have always had good luck with Evinrudes. i have an 86 140hp looper that i bought new and its been on 3 boats over the years. i will be checking out the e-tecs at the boat show for the tritoon i bought last april.

    It's liteweight is a BFD with a retrofit.
    A real plus.
    Bombardier is on their game with warranty too.

    Did you see the running display at the boat show? The salesman was kind enough to give me a primer in outboard performance and I was impressed to see a direct injected 2 stroke that could be started and ran indoors at a public venue with CARB/EPA approval. He told me a 300hp version was in the works and that they have no intention of switching to the 4 strokes as they have this technology nailed. I'm not an outboard guy but have a deep appreciation cot this kind of cutting edge shit!
