Stringer Replacement Surgery

I'm hearing about guys having their hulls re-done and their stringers replaced. Is this a viable option for extending the life of a light circle hull that's showing some signs of delam at the base of the stringers?

Whose make boat is it? Replacing the stringers is a huge job. I think Billy B just does Paint.
