Gear Oil ????????

I been thinking of switching over to synthetic in my Casale. Is it worth the cost or forget it?

Dan, if you are just running it in the 1/4 mile you can run a light synthetic, if you are running on the river you need to stay with a 90 wt. gear oil whether it is synthetic or regular.
In our PGF we ran synthetic transmission oil very light but it did the job, never had a failure a 1/4 at a time.

I run Red Line 70-90 with a little prolong added in my hydro. Runs all day and the the V-drive stays cool to the touch.

I run Mercury outboard lower unit gear oil.
Noticed lots of the circle race boats using it at the races.
