Posting for a friend of a friend. I have not seen this boat so I can only go by pictures that I got and talking to owner directly. Looks like it defintely needs alot of TLC with Gel and Upholstry. This is a 1974 Spectra XS with a 496ci Tall Block motor recently rebuilt, Has a Mooneyham Blower Unk size? He said that was also rebuilt when motor was. T-400 Trans. MSD Ignition. If anyone wants more info contact him directly. Mike @ 928-715-8010 I was told 5K or best offer.

I know the boat, I looked at it before I bought mine about 5 years ago.
I think the blower is a 6/71 on the 496 Chevy.
I think I still have the pictures when I looked at it.

This boat has a new owner. ME! So far she is cleaning up real nice. No more stains on the side. Not much I can do about some of the cracks in the gel. The engine does look like to be very fresh. The owner said it only had about 15 minutes on it. Seems to look that way so far. Did have a broken starter, snout was busted off. I'll be tearing into more as the day goes on. Its like summertime in feb. Getting those before & after pictures to show the difference.

    Nailhead,
You got a great deal on that Spectra!
I almost bought it about 5 years ago, but the guy was a little high on his price.
    Good Luck,

    Hey Brent,
Where was it when you saw it? This guy says he bought it about 4 or 5 years ago. I'd like to see those pictures you have if you can dig them up. I just fired it up about an hour ago. Be at the lake next weekend breakin the motor in.

THe boat pretty much looks the same as when I saw it. The boat was down near Carlsbad, a place called Bonsal.
Have fun breaking the new motor in.
