With all the hoopla about Bratney, I have seen nothing about this tidbit. It seems that a young mother of three, with a husband in Iraq, got cut off on the road by some yahoo. Pi$$ed, she threw a cup of ice into the offender.
After she served a month in jail, the jury found her guilty and recommended two years in prison. She got probation, but does anyone besides me think that this is insane? I can see giving her a ticket. I can see giving the other idiot a ticket. I can even see having her attend anger management classes. But to recommend two years of prison and possibly having the state take care of her children for throwing a cup of ice? I sure the hey hope there is a lot more to this than the media is telling.
