big roost, how to

Mine just had a tired old 460 stock as it gets. It is getting a 429 with ported C8 heads and a Erson jet boat cam with a tunnel ram and a pair of 750s. The roost should be bigger and it should run alot harder. I hope!

This is my boat with a JC pump. I rebuilt it with an ultimate wear ring and a standard aluminum
A impeller that Duane just smoothed and indexed for me.
It's a standard agressor hydraulic diverter with no mods.
The mill is a very mild warm up on a 455. My guess is it's well under 400 hp.
I think a lot of it depends on the hull and pump condition.

This is a wacky pic but it's my boat. Full throttle diverter flat.....
Shut it down diverter up drop the hammer and this is what I get.

With a wedge and hyd. place diverter, with a 350 sbc this is what I got. Gets the bottom lots wetter and slows me down but it's kinda cool I guess.
