where can I remount my coil on my 460..?
It was next to the carb but had to move it to make room for the new dual feed lines.

Anywhere you want. As long as the coil wire will reach the distributor! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

Most fords have the coil at the right side of the distributor mounted on top of the intake manifold.

you can mount it anywhere, just make sure that you mount it straight up and down so the windings inside are coverd with oil. when you mount em horizontal the tops of the windings are not covered with oil and they overheat and burn out.

I have a friend who was having coils go out on him right and left. Some old fella told him to mount it upside down and his troubles would stop. Damned if they didn't too. Anyone else heard this?
