Dan,
On my 1500 4x4... I run 285 75 16's with no rubbing..
I have had the BFG's and did not like them compared to the Yokohama
Geolander AT II's.. Take a look at them...
Max load per tire is 3305 lbs.. Same as the BFG's

Those are Discount's Pathfinder (I think) in a 265 on stock wheels. Looks much better than it did with the little crappy 245's.
Dan, I am running the 285 BFG A/Ts. I have over 60,000 miles on them. No complaints here. No rubbing, but I did have to crank up the front torsion bars. I believe it was 8 turns.
Are those 8 lugs?
What is your set up? Rims & tires (brands pls, and how much $ if you dont mind)
Thanks
BFG A/T 285/75/16, no rubbing, just crank up the t bars a little.

We were running 285's on our 2500 HD with a little trimming and the torsions cranked up. I just installed a 6" Fabtech lift and went to 35's and it is much better. The ride is almost like stock. I did not do the lift initially because the factory warranty would not cover any tranny problems on an Allison with an after market lift. We are now into the extended warranty which I can do myself.
I would highly reccomend a quality after market lift over raising the torsions just for the ride quality. I also went with a Hypertech tuner and it is more drivable IMO because of the Torque increase off the bottom end.
