Thread: New riser extensions

Posted a few days ago about finding some reverison upon firing the new motor with the short risers. Today, I cut some 6" extensions and welded them up. I used some scrap 3" exhaust pipe and coated it with POR15. I fired the motor up again checked and it was dry. Problem solved.
Another plus is the sound is much deeper and a tad louder. The new pipe is only 3" from the tips so it does not have to push the water far at all.
    Check em out.......

I'm very lucky to boat where there are no noise ordinance laws. Our CO's are actually a nice group of gearheads themselves. They stick to getting the young drunk 16 year olds on daddy's PWC's.
