My 6.2 motor now seems like such the prudent choice...........while all the big ballers with twin 525's will be sitting on the beach I'll be cruising the lake with the family sipping petrol.

About 25-28 hours, we get to Steamboat or another cove and spent most of the day there till it is time to get out.
Nope. It MAY affect how much time the 454 is not running and I have an ICE-COLD brewski in my hand tho.
Appearently you don't realize that they usually do pretty good in the economy area, so that isn't going to happen.

our water toys don't burn much fuel and we have a gas card from my wifes work for personal use so it doesn't cost me.
Unfortunately yes it will. For me it is a little harsh on the wallet to drop $160 in fuel alone. Most likely will only get 2-4 runs this year, then I will pull the pump, and motor out.
